Board of Aldermen Pass Mayor's Salary Increase This Evening
By a 8 to 3 vote, the full Board of Aldermen passed Order 2013-86, the amendment to increase the Mayor's salary by $25,000.00. The actual pay raise won't take effect until January 2014.
The BOA chamber was packed again with supporters of the pay increase and most spoke in favor of the increase.
