If you can spare 1-2 hours per week, we would like to offer you the opportunity to experience the rewards of a new friendship.  We are looking for volunteers to match with isolated and homebound seniors in the Melrose Community.  Your weekly visit to them will mean so much.   

As a volunteer you will: 

• Do important and rewarding work
• Gain satisfaction, a greater self knowledge and personal growth
• Be a comfort and supportive presence to clients and their families

 Some of the activities you might share together include: 

• Friendly Conversation
• Read together
• Playing cards
• Do a jigsaw puzzle
