Dean Antonucci passed away suddenly at Lawrence General Hospital, on November 12, 2012. He was only 50 years of age. Dean was born in Melrose to Elaine (Anderson) Antonucci and the late Alfred J. Antonucci, was raised in Melrose, graduated from Melrose High School, Class of 1980 and went to Norwich University for 2 years. Dean has been a resident of North Reading for the past 20 years. Mr. Antonucci was the founder and owner of New England Beverage in North Reading for the past 22 years and was the former owner Pro Lanes Bowling in North Reading. Dean was a great husband, father, son and brother who made sure his family always came first. He was a member of the Indian Ridge Golf Club in Andover, enjoyed his trips to the Super Bowls, Aruba and Florida. Mr. Antonucci will always be remembered for his great big smile and will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Dean was the beloved husband of 27 years to Marcy (Vieno) Antonucci. Devoted father of Nicole, Joseph, Corin, Michael & AJ. Loving son of Elaine Antonucci & the late Alfred J. Antonucci. Cherished brother of Laura Foster & her husband Rob of FL and the late Alan Antonucci. Loving nephew of Joanne & Howard Johnson, Arthur & Pat Anderson and Lee Caruso all of Melrose. Son-in-law of Harry & Mary Vieno of Melrose. Brother-in-law of John & Barbara Vieno of Reading, Cathy Ginas of Bradford, Donna & Timmy Morrill of Randolph, Harry Vieno of Lynn and Cindy Vieno of Woburn. Also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and Dean was soon to be a proud grandfather. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Saturday, November 16th, at 9AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Incarnation Church, 425 Upham St. Melrose, at 10AM. Relatives & friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday from 4:00-800PM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Massachusetts General Hospital Pancreatic Foundation, 165 Cambridge St. Suite 600, Boston, MA 02114. My thoughts and prayers go out to all. I did not have the opportunity to meet your husband,dad or son. I have been where you are as I lost my husband and father of my three kids very suddenly two years ago. May you strengh and love of your family help you through these difficult times.
