Dorothy T. Camerlin, of Melrose, died at the Courtyard Nursing Center in Medford on January 13, 2013 at the age of 99. Dorothy was born & raised in Melrose and attended Melrose High School. She worked as a Rubber Stretcher for the Converse Rubber Company in Malden for over 20 years. Dorothy enjoyed crocheting and working in her yard. She was an active member of St. Mary’s Church in Melrose for many years. Dorothy was the loving daughter of the late Henry & Carolyn (Clancy) Camerlin. Devoted twin sister of the late Ruth M. Muise and the late Charles Camerlin. Cherished aunt of Ruthanne Van Stone of Tewksbury and Charles Muise of NJ. Great aunt of Lisa Eshbach of Tewksbury, Scott Van Stone of Tewksbury, Donna Waldo and Charles Muise, both of NJ. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Thursday Jan. 17th at 8AM. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church, Herbert St., Melrose at 9AM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours on Wednesday from 5-7PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Dorothy’s name to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation 120 Wall St., 19th Floor, NY, NY 10005.
