1. Cold day: It is expected to be partly sunny, with temperatures reaching a high of about 33 during the day Thursday before becoming mostly clear and temperatures dipping to a low of about 25 at night, according to the National Weather Service's forecast for Melrose.
2. State Rep. meeting: State Rep. Paul Brodeur is expected to be available to meet with his constituents at 1 p.m. Thursday at Milano Senior Center.
