1. Sunshine: While it's expected to be mostly sunny with temperatures peaking in the low 40s during the day Thursday, clouds will roll in and wind gusts will pick up in the evening when temperatures will drop to the teens, according to the National Weather Service's forecast for Melrose.

2. In case you missed it: While the Melrose Department of Public Works did not have any issues treating roadways during the snowy commute Wednesday morning, our readers did run into some problematic areas.

3. Open mic night at Ab Fab: Sign-up starts at 7 p.m. Thursday and music kicks off at 7:30 p.m. at Absolutely Fabulous in Melrose.
