1) The sky was a hazy shade of winter: Snow. High near 33. Northeast wind between 13 and 16 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible. Tonight, snow likely, mainly before 11 p.m. Cloudy, with a low around 25. North wind between 9 and 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible. (Forecast by the National Weather Service.)

2) Everybody, I've got bad news—we've been canceled: Stay on top of any snow-related cancellations (and post yours) by checking in at our Storm Center article.

3) Give 'em the boot:  Beginning today, Melrose Boot Camp is offering evening "drop-in" indoor boot camp at Trinity Episcopal Church at 7 p.m.

4) Sing it from the heart: It's acoustic open mic night at Ab Fab starting at 7:30 p.m.
