Five Things: Melrose Officials to Host Neighborhood Meeting Thursday

Here are five things to know for Thursday, Sept. 27:

1. First session: Mayor Rob Dolan, Police Chief Michael Lyle and members of the Board of Aldermen will host their first neighborhood meeting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Herbert Clark Hoover Elementary School. The session will focus on sharing information about police initiatives and hearing from residents about issues that affect them.

2. Open mic night at Ab Fab: Sign-up starts at 7 p.m. Thursday and music kicks off at 7:30 p.m. 

3. In case you missed it: Gov. Deval Patrick chatted with Patch Thursday afternoon for 45 minutes. Check out the complete transcript on Melrose Patch.

4. Fall pics: Have you taken some nice photographs of fall in Melrose? Upload your photos to our community photo gallery.
