Five Things: Milano Senior Center to Host Art Classes

Check out the Five Things column for Tuesday, Sept. 25.

1. Clear skies: The Tuesday forecast for Melrose calls for mostly sunny skies, with temperatures reaching a high in the low 70s and an overnight low in the mid-50s.

2. Creative classes: The Milano Senior Center is expected to hold art classes from 9:30-10:30 a.m. on Tuesdays for $5 per session, and all media and skill levels welcome.

3. Don't pass it up: Melrose residents may borrow a 2012 Massachusetts Park Pass free of charge from the Recreation Department. The pass entitles the bearer to free parking for one vehicle (excluding buses or vans) at over 50 facilities in the Massachusetts state parks system that charge a day-use parking fee.

4. Get socialized: Follow our Melrose Patch Facebook and Twitter pages for additional content not always found on the website.

5. In case you missed it: We want to know: Should parents let their kids play on trampolines? Let us know by posting comments here.
