FIVE THINGS: More Cold, Rain

Five things you need to know today, Thursday, Nov. 8.

 

1. More cold rain: Thursday will be rainy with highs in the 40s. Evening temperatures are set to dip below freezing. 

2. Open mic night at Ab Fab: Sign-up starts at 7 p.m. Thursday and music starts at 7:30 p.m.

3. An international welcome: The Melrose Human Rights Commission, Mayor Robert Dolan, and the Lincoln Elementary School Site Council will sponsor the tenth annual International Welcome Reception Thursday, November 8th, from 6:30 – 8:30 P.M. at the Lincoln School, 80 West Wyoming Avenue.  All members of the Melrose community are invited.

4. Do-si-do: As always, the Malden Council on Aging will host line dancing starting at 6:15 p.m. Thursday – don't let the seniors in your life miss out on the urban life-transcending fun.
