While I don't put a whole lot of stock in these surveys, which can fluctuate wildly from year to year, this wasis nevertheless a very good year for Melrose.

This is another outstanding achievement and national recognition for our city. Special thanks must go to the Mayor, city workers, Aldermen, School Committee members, other Boards and Commissions, city volunteers, and businesses who commit so much of their time to improving the health and well-being of our community. And of course to those special men and women who wear the blue and risk their lives each day to help keep us all safe......a very special thanks!

Seeing as police reports are works of fiction, I don't place much faith in this survey.
