• Remembering Mary M. Gilmartin: Mary M. Gilmartin passed away at Oosterman Rest Home in Melrose on Jan. 12. She was 94 years of age. 

• Obituary for Bryan J. Connolly: Bryan J. Connolly, a longtime resident of Malden, passed away peacefully on Jan. 10 at Wilmington Health Care Center at the age of 76. 

• Remembering Mike Crowley: Michael J. Crowley of Melrose died on Jan. 8 at the Tufts Medical Center of Boston after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 36 years old.  

• Remembering Joseph A. Mitchell, Jr.: Joseph A. Mitchell, Jr. of Lawrence and formerly of Melrose, died on Jan. 6 in Lawrence. He was 54 yrs old. 

• Anna Merino Obituary: Anna (Muraco) Merino, of Melrose, died at the Bear Hill Nursing Center in Wakefield on Jan. 7 at the age of 101.
