National Grid: Hundreds of Melrose Homes Still Without Power Wednesday

Nearly 13,000 National Grid customers in Middlesex County, including Melrosians, are still without power as of early Wednesday morning.

 

More than 250 Melrose homes were still without power Wednesday morning after Hurricane Sandy hit the area Monday, according to the National Grid website.

Of the 12,017 National Grid customers in Melrose, 252 were without power as of 5:30 a.m. Wednesday, according to a power outage map on the website.

Nearly 13,000 of the nearly 225,000 National Grid customers in Middlesex County were in the dark as of 6 a.m. Tuesday, according to the map.
