Man Kicks Wheelchair-Bound Nun, Says Somerville Police Report: A Cambridge man was caught "giving chase to one of the nuns" at Somerville's Little Sisters of the Poor, according to a Somerville Police report. He then allegedly kicked the nun. The man later allegedly told the officers who arrested him, "If I wasn't handcuffed, and I had a gun, I would [expletive] shoot both of you."
Man Struck, Injured by Orange Line Train in Malden: Both MBTA and Malden Police responded to a reported trespasser struck by a train in the city around 8:40 p.m. Tuesday night, hospitalizing a victim with non-life threatening injuries.
Facepainter's Friends Threaten Woburn Family: Woburn couple reported receiving threats from men affiliated with a facepainter hired for children’s parties. According to police, the couple admitted they did not pay the facepainter for a party held in December. The couple told police the callers threatened bodily harm. Police stood by while the couple called the facepainter and promised payment.
Bike-Theft Victim Gets Craigslist Revenge, Helps Somerville Cops Arrange Sting: A man who had his bike stolen was able to retrieve it by monitoring Craigslist, setting up a dummy email account and ultimately helping police set up a sting operation to nab the person selling it.
Somerville's Union Square Bank Robbed for Second Time in Two Weeks: Somerville Police are searching for the suspect who robbed the Citizens Bank in Union Square on Tuesday morning. It was the second time the bank was robbed in about two weeks.
