A car crashed into a telephone pole in the area of Trenton Street and West Wyoming Avenue.
Melrose Police and Fire responded to the crash, which occurred sometime before 6 p.m. Tuesday, according to an unconfirmed scanner report. The vehicle was towed from the scene, according to the report.
Verizon was notified and expected to visually inspect the damage to the pole, according to the report.
It is unclear whether anyone was injured in the crash.
