A car crashed into a pole in the Main and Upham Streets area midday Thursday.
The crash reportedly happened around 12:20 p.m. Thursday. Wires were down at the scene, according to an unconfirmed scanner report.
It appears the car involved in the crash was a silver sedan, which sustained some front-end damage and damage to the driver's side area.
Melrose Police, Fire and DPW crews were on scene.
It's unclear if anyone was injured or if the vehicle needed to be towed from the scene.
