On Friday afternoon, the Milano Senior Center hosted an open house for Jack Beckley, who is retiring after 23 years at the executive director of the Melrose Council on Aging. Melrose seniors and officials packed into the hall on the second floor to pay tribute to the man known to most simply as Jack.
