On Monday, Melrose High School senior Brooke Bell set the school's girls' volleyball assist record, according to a VideojamProductions video report on YouTube.
Bell broke the record previously held by Colleen Hanscom who set it back in 2009, according to the report.
The new record may be around 1,700 assists by the end of the regular season and playoffs barring any setbacks, according to the report.
