- The Beebe Gallery will be open Saturday from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Melrose artist J.J. Long is Gallery's featured artist for January.
- It's Girl Scout cookie season! Troop #71238 will be peddling their delectable wares on Saturday from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at Foodmaster if you want to stock up and don't want to wait for a knock on the door.
- The Melrose Human Rights Commission will be holding their a meeting of their Conversation Groups on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Melrose Public Library. The groups pair native English speakers with Melrosians for whom English is a second language—more volunteers always welcome.
- The weekly public skating hours at Stoneham Arena are on Sunday from 4-5:50 p.m.
