Where Can You Find the Best Hot Chocolate in Melrose?
Let us know for this week's Patch Picks.
Last week, an astounding number of people told us where they get what they believe is the best coffee in Melrose. Thank you to everyone who contributed to that story.
This week, we're asking a similar question. Where can you find the frothiest, creamiest, most chocolately hot cocoa in the city? Because sometimes we need something heavier than joe.
Tell us in the comments section where you get superb hot chocolate, either from a store or a cafe, and we'll compile your answers into Thursday's Patch Picks column.
And if you have an excellent recipe, or a picture of yourself sipping a mug of cocoa, please share those with us, too.

Thanks, everyone, who has responded. If you didn't tell us in your comment, we'd love to know also what you think makes a cup of hot chocolate excellent.

I like Starbucks because it's a nice dark chocolate but honestly, I think the best is homemade with Fluff on top. You can't find anyone that will add Fluff to their hot cocoa. Which adds to the debate... fluff or whipped cream?

the ultimate hot chocolate indulgence has to be LA Burdick's, in Harvard Square - it's essentially a small cup of melted chocolate. barring that, Dunkin Donuts makes a surprisingly satisfying cup of hot cocoa - fairly creamy, and pretty consistent. plus, warm. :)
