Where's the Best Place to Go Apple Picking Nearby?
For next week's Patch Picks, we want you to tell us places close to Melrose where you can partake in a fall tradition.
Foliage peeping, football, boots and coats: Fall is here.
So for next week's Patch Picks, we're going seasonal with a perfect autumn activity. We want you to tell us: What are your favorite places to go apple picking?
Tell us why the apple selection or customer service—or hay ride—at an area orchard makes it better than all the others. Maybe you just have warm memories of climbing apple trees, or like the neat, convenient rows of easily-plucked granny smith apples.
In the comments below, tell us who these teachers are and why they deserve some recognition. We'll compile everybody's nominations into next Thursday's Patch Picks column.

I love Cider Hill Farm in Amesbury. Great selection of u-pick, extensive selection at the farm stand, yummy cider donuts, and THE best cider around. Goats and chickens for the kids to feed, corn maze, hayrides....what more do you need?

We go to Westward Orchards in Harvard, MA, every year. The tractor ride to the pumpkin patch is particularly fun, as are the apple dumplings.
