Will You Adopt Chapel This Holiday Season?
This Siamese cat needs a loving owner.
[Editor's note: The following information derives from Lots of Love Cat Rescue.]
Chapel was found in a church manger back in December of 2011. This sweet girl is still with us, and needs a home for the holidays.
A homeless cat and kittens, seeking shelter in a manger on a cold winter night: this is Chapel's Christmas story. The kittens found a home, however Chapel still lingers in foster care, one year later.
With her black silky fur and stunning golden eyes, she is a little over two years old, a mix of Siamese in her. Chapel went into a quiet foster home, one room with other cats that came and went.
Springtime offered Chapel a new foster home that worked on her shyness and fear of people, introduced her to new cats, dogs, children and rooms to roam. For months Chapel hid, until one day she strutted happily down the hall, tail up, ready for breakfast. As the family helped build her confidence, she stopped running when approached, purred loudly when patted, found her voice, followed her people around and played in the open. Her big hurray moment: jumping on the couch in search of a lap.
All their love and patience was worth it, saying “they got to see Chapel was the gentlest, sweetest cat they ever met.”
Chapel adores other cats, but unfortunately their male cat started to bully her so she’s back to the original foster home. Our holiday wish; that someone will give Chapel the best gift ever, a loving, permanent home-sweet-home.
