Mystic Valley Holds Geo Bee

Students from grades 4-8 participated in the annual Mystic Valley Geo Bee today. The competition was held in the gym at 576 Eastern Avenue.
Students were asked a series of questions in a five round competition that narrowed the field down to finalists who then had to continue answering questions correctly or sit down. The field eventually came down to two seventh graders Henry Wiest and Tommy Callanan. The pair went back and forth for several exciting rounds before Wiest was able to come out on top because he knew that the Sultan Ahmed Mosque is located in Istanbul
