Yesterday, I spent time with my friend, John at his local shop. It was a small variety store at one point, but John is now serving fresh Lebanese food and upon my recommendation, has joined quite a few social sites in hope of getting more business.
I had offered John my services of taking some photos of the shop and he finally asked for me to do so, in exchange I got a very mouth-watering lunch out of it.
I spent three hours taking photos with my still newish Canon 7D and was very happy with the results that I got. The bonus is that John also told me about a website, where I can host files and people can also grab them, once I share the folder with them. It's free and a very useful service. I just wish that he had told me about it months ago, when the whole wedding took place. It would have saved me time and money.
As for me, I'm currently on vacation and have been just trying to recover from a nasty cold that seems to be hitting everyone at this point.
On the agenda: Myself and three other friends will be going into Boston on Saturday, March 31st.
I'm also planning a photowalk for Rockport MA and I'm still working on The Millenium Falcon photo project that will be starting in April. I just would love to get more people involved, because I think it's a nice project and the more people we have in it, the better.
I hope that everyone is having a great week!
