DESCRIPTION:Seven Mile Road is a people who have experienced undeserved
grace from God and are longing to live lives marked by repentance\, fait
 h and obedience.\nIf you are an &lsquo\;average Bostonian&rsquo\; (if t
here really is such a thing)\, you and church probably don&rsquo\;t mix
. Maybe you had a lousy church experience\, maybe you are philosophical
ly anti-Jesus or anti-church\, or maybe you just don&rsquo\;t see the p
oint. Life is super busy as it is\, who has time to wake up on a Sunday
to drive to a church for a religious check-in that bores you back to s
leep?\nAt Seven Mile Road we are out to rework those understandings of
&lsquo\;church&rsquo\;. Church is not a place you go to on Sundays or wh
en life takes a bad turn and you are looking for some help from up abov
 e. Church is a people\, united around a common love of the truth of the
gospel\, a people who are seeking to live life in response to God&rsqu
o\;s grace. Do we get together on Sundays? Yes\, but that is one act in
a daily and eternal drama we find ourselves wrapped up in &hellip\; a
story that encompasses not only the transformation of our souls\, but t
he renewal of all things. It&rsquo\;s big. And it&rsquo\;s real. And Je
sus&rsquo\; church is a part of its unfolding. And that\, we think\, is
something worth not only getting up on Sundays for\, but giving our wh
ole hearts to.\nAnd so we hope that we are wired to become a network of
healthy church communities just north of Boston that multiply disciples
\, leaders\, and churches. Our deep hope is that our approach to this
mission will reflect the glory of God in the Gospel. That we would be a
biblically faithful community. That we would incarnate an intense love
and concern for the culture we find ourselves in. That we would handle
the tension of being indigenous and pilgrim well. That we would get the
breadth and width and height and length of this glorious reality that
has been given to us in Christ.\nWelcome.
