The Melrose Elks Annual "Hoop Shoot" Free Throw Contest will take place this Sunday, December 2nd 2012 at Visionary Basketball Group at 152 Tremont Street, Melrose.  This contest is FREE and is open to all Melrose residents between the ages of 8 to 13.  You dont need to be a Kobe or a LeBron to win this local level contest.  All you need to do is sink as many free throws from the foul line to win your age division to advance to the next round.  To register your child or children, please email their name(s) and date of birth to Lynn Kelly, Hoop Shoot Director at lkellyrecruit@yahoo.com

Pre-registration is strongly recommended to keep the event on time and moving smoothly.  However, walk in registeration will be allow 15 minutes prior to the start of each age division.  8/9 year olds at 9 am, 10/11 year olds at 10 am, and 12/13 year olds at 11 am.  Age level is determined by what age the contestant will be as of April 1, 2013.    Come On Down!!!
