Organist David Tierney \;joins the symphony for this monumental work.\nAlso on the program is Grieg&rsquo\;s only concerto\, the striking \;Piano Concerto in A minor. \; \;Boston piani st\, \;Jonathan Bass\, chair of the Piano Department at The Boston C onservatory\, is the featured soloist. \; \;Jonathan Bass has pe rformed with many orchestras including the Boston Esplanade Pops at Symp hony Hall on three occasions\, and on National Public Radio&rsquo\;s &ld quo\;Performance Today.&rdquo\;\nIn honor of Mayor Milano&rsquo\;s commi tment to the service\, $10 tickets for veterans are being offered throug h the Veterans Office by calling \;781-979-4186. \; \;Genera l admission tickets are $29\, students $10\, and can be purchased by cas h or check only at Sweet Thoughts or Miter Biter\, both on Main Street i n Melrose. \; \;Tickets can also be purchased online at \;ww w.melrosesymphony.org.
