Reminder!!!!! .....Melrose Youth Ballet Auditions for The Nutcracker are tomorrow, Saturday September 15th!!!
Be a part of this wonderful holiday production in Melrose and take part in the audition happening tomorrow at the historic Memorial Hall. (590 Main St.) Performances will take place during November 30th and December 2nd; which is also Melrose's Home for the Holidays weekend. Rehearsals will mainly take place on Saturdays and Sundays.

More About Memorial Hall - Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Building
The Soliders & Sailors Memoiral Building was dedicated on Dec. 14, 1912 in remembrance of the soldiers and sailors of the Civil War. John Slayton donated the building to the city and was chairman of the building committee.
Memorial Hall hosts events throughout the year and features a seating capacity of 800 in the main auditorium, which has a 30-foot by 40-foot stage, dressing rooms and a public address system. The main auditorium is also home to a grand organ at the rear of the stage, dedicated in 1919 as a memorial to the World War I veterans.
The Grand Army of the Republic Hall (GAR) is located in the upstairs portion of the building. It has a seating capacity of 60 to 100 and is adjacent to a full commercial kitchen facility.
