 ption: Social Skills Development for teens and preteens in both High Sch
 ool and Middle School who are interested in learning ways to help them m
 ake and keep friends. During each group session\, teens / preteens are t
 aught important social skills with an updated curriculum and are given t
 he opportunity to practice these skills in session during socialization 
 activities. Psychoeducation Group sessions are facilitated by an experie
 nced Licensed Clinician who specializes in Child / Adolescent / Family T
 reatment. The group size will be approximately 6-8 children.\n Your Teen
  / Preteen Will Learn : &uml\;How to use appropriate conversational skil
 ls * How to become more organized * How to make phone calls to friends *
  How to appropriately use humor &uml\;How to choose appropriate friends 
 *How to handle disagreements * How to be a good sport * How to handle re
 jection &amp\; bullying * How to handle rumors and gossip *How to find c
 ommon interests by trading info *How to handle changes in routines.\n Pa
 rents must schedule and complete a pre-assessment intake session PRIOR t

  for this intake session. The cost for the (6) Week Psychoeducation Prog
 ram is $200.00 and must be paid in full prior to the first group session
 . The program cost ($200) will be self-pay and insurance plans do not co

 attend separate sessions at the same time and are taught how to assist t
