Melrose Veterans Memorial Middle School Drama Club proudly presents the beloved family favorite, "The Little Mermaid Jr.” on November 16^th and 17^th at 7:30 PM and November 17^th and 18^th at 2:00 PM. The musical will be performed at the Melrose Performing Arts Center located at the Middle School, 350 Lynn Fells Parkway in Melrose, MA. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for students and seniors and $6 for MVMMS students and will be available at the door and online at www.melrosedrama.com. The Little Mermaid tells the story of the beautiful young mermaid Ariel who lives in a magical underwater kingdom with her father King Triton, her six mersisters and her great friends, Sebastian and Flounder. Ariel longs to leave her ocean home behind and live in the world above. To do this, she must first defy her father, make a deal with the evil sea witch Ursula, and convince Prince Eric that she is the girl with the enchanting voice. Adapted from Disney’s 2008 Broadway production,  "The Little Mermaid Jr." is appropriate for all ages and features the hit songs "Part of Your World," "She’s in Love," "Under the Sea" and many more family favorites. The show is directed by Adam Schuler, musically directed by Kim McEntee, choreographed by Rebecca Flint and technically directed by David McCall. The cast and crew include over 50 MVMMS students.
