Valentine's Day Luncheon

Milano Senior Center, 201 W Foster St, Melrose, MA | Get Directions »
$2.00

Around the world February 14th, Valentine’s Day, has long been the day we celebrate the spirit of love and romance.

Join us as Mystic Valley Elder Services provides us with a delicious lunch  and we honor past, current and future love relationships. The menu will consist of Italian vegetable ditalini soup, Bruschetta chicken served with au gratin potatoes, French greens beans almandine, and a snowflake dinner roll. And for dessert - luscious Red velvet cake with frosting.

Share the love: When did you fall in love? How did you know she/he was “the one”? Do you have a silly or romantic love story to tell? Come prepared to take the mic and share your story. It doesn’t have to be amazing – just genuine.  Love is all around us every day in deeds and memories. Let’s celebrate love together.

There is a $2.00 requested donation to cover the cost of lunch.  To make a reservation for lunch or a ride, please call 781-662-6886.  A $1 one-way donation is requested.

The historic Milano Senior Center was built as a carriage house in 1897 as part of The Beebe Estate. Renovated and expanded, it reopened as the Milano Senior Center in 1995 under the direction of the Melrose Council on Aging.

Each month, approximately 750-900 senior citizens attend the many social, recreational, health and educational programs offered at the center. Some of the more than 25 regular programs include weekday lunches, Tai Chi and yoga classes, arts and crafts, board and card games, line dancing and aerobics classes, writing classes, and support groups.
