Metropolitan Water Reclamation District to raffle rain barrel during Youth Alliance Festival in Melrose Park June 28

Staff from the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (MWRD) will educate children ages 10-18 about ways to conserve and reuse water and raffle a free rain barrel during the Youth Alliance evening festival on Thursday, June 28 from 5 to 9 p.m. The festival will be held at the Bulger Park, 1601 Hirsch St., Melrose Park. Admission is free.

Festival activities include: a soccer tournament, baseball tournament, jewelry making, PLCCA Boxing Demo, video game tournaments, 3-on-3 basketball, mural painting, beauty lessons, a raffle, refreshments and more.
