Girl Scout Troop to Perform Plays at Melrose Public Library

Here are five things to know for Wednesday, Dec. 11 in Melrose:

1. Girl Scout Troop #72056 will be performing two 10-minute plays for children ages 4-8 between 1-1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Meeting Room at Melrose Public Library, according to an event posting on the library website. Donations can be made to the library's food drive, according to the posting.

2. The Beebe Estate Board of Trustees will be meeting at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at The Beebe Estate, according to an agenda on the city website.

3. The Melrose Board of Assessors are set to meet at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Assessors Office at City Hall, according to an agenda posted on the city website.

4. It is expected to be mostly sunny and windy on Wednesday, with temperatures peaking in the low 30s before dipping to an overnight low in the upper teens, according to the forecast for Melrose on the National Weather Service website.
