Great Books Club to Meet at Melrose Public Library

Here are five things to know on Tuesday, Oct. 15 in Melrose:

1. The Great Books club meets at 7-8:45 p.m. Tuesday in the Meeting Room at Melrose Public Library. 

2. Here's a look at the programs lined up for Tuesday at Milano Senior Center, according to the senior center's October newsletter:

8:30 a.m.: Primetime Fitness  
8:30 a.m.: Tai Chi  
9:30 a.m.: Art class  
9:30 a.m.: Swedish weaving  
10 a.m.: Computer help  
10 a.m.: Handicrafts  
10 a.m.: SHINE by appointment 
11 a.m.: Post Office 
12 p.m.: Lunch: pot roast or egg salad  
12:30 p.m.: Cribbage
5 p.m.: Community dinner

3. Tuesday is expected to be mostly sunny, with temperatures peaking in the upper 60s before dipping to an overnight low in the upper 40s.

4. The Toddler Time Drop-in program is slated for 10:15-10:45 a.m. Tuesday at Melrose Public Library in the Meeting Room.

5. The Melrose High School Graduation Night 2014 group meets at 7:30-8:15 p.m. Tuesday in the Trustees Room at Melrose Public Library.
