League of Women Voters to Host Candidate Forums in Melrose

Here are five things to know on Wednesday, Oct. 9 in Melrose:

1. The Melrose League of Women Voters will be hosting Candidate Forums from 6:30-10 p.m. Wednesday in the Roosevelt Elementary School Cafetorium. 

2. The Rockin' Babies and Boppin' Toddlers program runs from 10:15 a.m. to noon on Wednesday at Melrose Public Library in the Meeting Room, according to the library website.

3. The Melrose Knit a Bit group meets from 7:15-8:45 p.m. Wednesday in the Upper Lobby of the Melrose Public Library, according to the library website.

4. It is expected to be partly sunny on Wednesday in Melrose, with temperatures peaking in the low 60s before dipping to an overnight low in the mid-40s.

5. The Melrose Board of Appeals meets at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday at City Hall in the Aldermanic Chamber, according to the city website.
