Melrose School Committee Meets Tuesday Night at City Hall

Here are five things to know on Tuesday, Oct. 22 in the Melrose area:

1. The Melrose School Committee is slated to meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Aldermanic Chamber at City Hall, according to the city website.

2. The Dine for Dollars fundraiser to benefit the Melrose High School Soccer is slated for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Dockside Restaurant, 1099 Main St., Wakefield, according to an event posting on Melrose Patch. Twenty-five percent of sales will be donated to the soccer program, the posting added.

3. The Melrose Veterans Services Advisory Board meets at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Lower Level Conference Room at City Hall, according to the city website.

4. The Toddler Time Drop-in Program runs from 10:15-10:45 a.m. Tuesday in the Meeting Room at Melrose Public Library, according to the library website.

5. In case you missed it, Melrose Police are looking for help from the public to find a man who allegedly robbed a bank at gunpoint on Sunday afternoon.
