Police Respond to Motor Vehicle Accidents in Melrose

Here is a sampling of five things to know on Wednesday, Sept. 4 in Melrose:

1. Police log: Check out the Melrose Police log, including multiple reports of motor vehicle accidents.

2. Library Activity: There will be a History Book Group with Bill Tobin from 7-8:45 p.m. Wednesday at Melrose Public Library in the Meeting Room.

3. Weather: It is expected to be sunny on Wednesday, according to the forecast for Melrose on the National Weather Service website. During the day, temperatures may hit a high of about 82 and an overnight low of 60, according to the forecast. 

4. No water flushing: The city won't be conducting any water flushing from Tuesday, Sept. 3 through Friday, Sept. 6, according to the city website.

5. Art demo: Melrose Arts will be hosting fiber artist Sandra Golbert for an art demonstration at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Milano Senior Center, according to an event posting on Melrose Patch.
