7th annual Blossoms at the Beebe on Saturday, April 26th

Ticket sales are brisk for the 7th annual Blossoms at the Beebe, a flower show, gala, Winners Circle casino, and silent auction to benefit the Lucius Beebe Memorial Library and the Wakefield Area Chamber of Commerce on Saturday, April 26th.

The adult-only event will be held at the 345 Main Street library from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. and will feature a Kentucky Derby theme complete with music on both levels of the library provided by Betty’s Bounce and the North Ave Band, gambling for prizes featuring Black Jack and Roulette tables, specialty Derby cocktails, a cash bar, a silent auction, a Run for the Roses flower show featuring the talents of regional, professional, and amateur florists, and gourmet hors d’oeuvres provided by Laurie’s 9:09 Steakhouse and Raw Bar, and ZuZu’s Cafe.

The Winner’s Circle Casino will feature a top prize of an overnight package at a Boston area hotel.  Proceeds from the casino and the event will help sustain important programs at the Beebe Library as well as community projects sponsored by the Wakefield Area Chamber of Commerce.

Tickets are $35 per person in advance and can be purchased at the Library or online at www.blossomsatbeebe.com  Tickets will also be available for $40 at the door. All who attend the Saturday evening event must be 21 years of age or older.
