Food Pantries Thank Melrose Community

A Servant's Heart Food Pantry of the Faith Evangelical Church would like to thank Shaw’s Market, the Melrose Veterans Advisory Board, and members of the Melrose community for their recent, generous grocery donations.  The Melrose Veterans Advisory Board and Shaw’s Market organized a contribution drive in which customers could support A Servant's Heart Food Pantry and the Pantry of Hope at the First Baptist Church by purchasing grocery items.  The event took place on Saturday, November 9th, and resulted in a large number of contributions:  many of the shelves that were empty are now full!  We sincerely thank every person who was involved in making this effort a success, from the organizers of the event to the members of the community who bought groceries for those in need.
