Melrose Girls for a Greater Good Give Back

Girls for a Greater Good, the youngest chapter in the General Federation of Women’s Clubs, joined forces with Stop and Shop in Saugus to raise more than $600 for the Jimmy Fund.

The girls spent a recent Saturday scooping slush, selling Stop and Shop Triple Winner Game tickets and offering necklaces and pins to raise funds. The necklaces and pins were handmade by the girls and sold quickly throughout the day’s events.

“The young ladies from the Girls for a Greater Good are wonderful representatives of today’s youth,” said Denise Morgan, a customer service representative from Stop and Shop. “They should be commended for all the hard work they offered to Stop and Shop and the Jimmy Fund.”
