Remembering Frances Marinelli

Frances L. “Frannie” Marinelli, of Melrose, died at her summer home in Freedom, NH on July 31, 2013 at the age of 65. Frannie was born & raised in Malden and a graduate of Girls Catholic High School. She worked in Accounts Payable for Hallmark Health for 23 years. Frannie resided in Melrose for 43 years and spent her summers at her lake house in Freedom, NH for 30 years. She enjoyed swimming, boating, waterskiing, the beach, traveling, and was always walking somewhere. Frannie loved animals, gardening, flowers, plants and being outdoors. She was “magnetic”, always very social and loved to be around people. The most important part of her life was her grandchildren and her favorite saying to them was “I love you to the moon and back”. Frannie was the beloved wife of John A. Marinelli for 45 years. Loving mother of John A. Marinelli, Jr. & his wife Audrey of Windham, NH, Jodi Johnston & her husband Chad of PA and David Marinelli of Melrose. Cherished grandmother of Paige, Ava, Liv, Ryan, Jillian & Annabel. Caring sister of Terriann Hickey of Melrose, Louis  Miele & his wife Lisa of Weymouth and Joanne King & her husband Paul of Melrose. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles & cousins. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Tuesday August 6th at 8:45AM. A Mass of Christian Burial in Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1155 Main St., Wakefield at 10AM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours on Monday from 4-8PM. Burial in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Frannie’s name to Mass.
