Chung who was known by many as “Chris” worked for Lucent Technologies for 7 years as a software engineer.  However, his primary focus and love in life was in serving others.  His heart was devoted to the Youth Group at the Chinese Bible Church of Greater Lowell in Chelmsford.  He loved playing basketball and enjoyed just being a good youth role model.

Chris was a family man who loved spending time with his cherished wife, and epitomized all the good traits of a father to his beloved daughter Jordan.  Chris loved going out to eat, watching movies, playing card games, going to sports games, doing crafts and painting, and enjoyed just listening to his wife and daughter talk. Chris also loved dogs, and playing tennis, soccer, and table-tennis.

He will be lovingly remembered by all who knew him.

He was the beloved husband of Pai-Jing Chen with whom he shared 15 years of marriage.  Loving and cherished father of Jordan Chan.  Devoted son of Chin M. Chan, and Shuk F. Hung.  Dear brother of Cindy Chan of CA, and Nicholas Chan of Hong Kong.

Relatives and friends will honor and remember Chris’ life by gathering at the First Baptist Church, 561 Main St., Melrose on Thursday, August 29 for his Funeral Service at 10 AM.

Chris devoted much of his life to helping others.  In recognition of his goal to make a difference by inspiring higher function and fitness for children and adults with disabilities, please consider a donation in his memory to AccesSportAmerica, 119 High St., Acton, MA 01720.
