Seven teens receive athletic awards at Austin Prep

The following teenagers received honors during Austin Preparatory School’s Winter Athletic Awards celebration.

Junior Maura Bancroft of Melrose received the Girls Varsity Skiing Coaches Award.

Senior Catherine Charry of Melrose received the Girls Varsity Basketball Coaches Award.

Sophomore Kara Cronin of Melrose received the Girls Junior Varsity Ice Hockey Award of Excellence.

Freshman Lauren Joyce of Melrose received the Girls Junior Varsity Basketball Award of Excellence.

Sophomore Olivia Lloyd of Melrose was selected as a Catholic Central League Swimming All-Star.

Eighth-grader Emma McCaldon of Melrose was named Girls Varsity Skiing Most Valuable Player.

Senior Alyssa Van Liere of Melrose was named Varsity Cheerleading Most Improved Player.
