5 Things To Do In Boston This Weekend: Christmas Festival and Latin Jazz

These five things are hot off the T and within walking distance of an Orange Line stop.

(All events are in walking distance from Orange Line stops on the MBTA.)

1.) : The 25th annual Boston Christmas Festival features the work of more than 350 craftsmen and includes a gingerbread house competition. At the Seaport World Trade Center, Nov. 4-6; Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets, $12 for adults; $10 for seniors; children under 14, free.
Take the Orange Line to State Street Station and walk 20 minutes to the World Trade Center at 200 Seaport Blvd. 

2.) HEAR LATIN JAZZ: The Poncho Sanchez Latin Jazz Band gets some help from trumpeter Terence Blanchard. Together "they put Afro-Cuban jazz on the map." At Berklee Performance Center on Sunday at 7 p.m. Tickets are $41-$55.
Take the Orange Line to Mass. Avenue Station and walk 10 minutes to the Berklee Performance Center.

3.) A DOLL'S HOUSE WITH A TWIST: Ibsen's classic play, "A Doll's House," is performed by women over 6-feet tall and men, under 4 1/2-feet tall. At the Cutler Majestic Theater, Friday through Sunday. Tickets are $25-$89.
Take the Orange Line to Chinatown Station and walk 3 minutes to the theater. 

4.) SHOP OLD SCHOOL: The SoWa Vintage Market is indoors and therefore open year round, every Sunday (except Christmas and New Years), 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Antiques, jewelry and fashion, kitsch. At 460 Harrison Ave. in the South End.
Take the Orange Line to Back Bay Station and walk 18 minutes to the indoor market.

5.) :  The “” exhibition features more than 30 artists’ work which -- all of it “on” or “about” paper. Friday through Sunday, at , 523 Medford St., Charlestown. 
Take the Orange Line to Sullivan Station and walk 15 minutes to the gallery.
