The Melrose Energy Commission has chosen to partner with Next Step Living, a Mass Save Participating Home Performance Contractor, to provide eligible Melrose residents with no-cost home energy assessments and access to the available Mass Save Homer Energy Program ® rebates. The Mass Save provides:
- No – Cost Home Energy Assessment to identify the energy saving improvements that are right for you.
- No – Cost Compact Fluorescent Lights (CFLs) to help start saving energy immediately.
- 5% off up to $2000 towards approved insulation improvements.
- 0% Financing through the Heat Loan Program for qualified energy efficiency improvements.
