Melrose Patch Office Hours Today: 10:30 a.m. to Noon

Come meet Editor Daniel DeMaina and Ad Manager Jill Carey to learn more about how to use Melrose Patch.

Want to know how to use Melrose Patch to post your news and events? Interested in or ads? Want to just say hello?

On Tuesday, April 10, Melrose Patch Editor Daniel DeMaina (that's me) and Ad Manager Jill Carey will be holding "office hours" from 10:30 a.m.-noon at , 530 Main St.

We'll be available to take any questions you have about Patch, listen to your story ideas, or just generally shoot the breeze. So stop by, say hello and have a cup of coffee with your Melrose Patch team. We look forward to seeing you!

Here's just a few things we can help you learn about:

  • Posting Announcements and Events: Whether your son or daughter recently won an award or you've got a fundraiser coming up you need to publicize, you can get the word out to everyone by posting on Patch.
  • Claiming Your Business' Places Listing: Business owners can claim their free listing in our directory—one of the first search results when your business is Googled—and add more information, connect with your customers and have them follow your listing to get updates anytime you have something new to announce.
  • Blogging on Patch: Our Local Voices blogging section is for anyone in the community who wants to write about the things they care about the most.
  • Uploading Photos and Videos: Our Melrose Pics & Clips neighborhood gallery lets you share your great pictures from around the community at anytime, and Patch users are encouraged to share photos and videos on our articles.

We hold regular office hours at various places around the city every month, although we're always around (you can usually find where I am through foursquare or Twitter).
