The Week Ahead: Thanksgiving, Boys Soccer Ab Fab Fundraiser, and More

Why Go: All of the food collected will go to the Greater Boston Food Bank to benefit hungry families across eastern Massachusetts. Bring your donations to CSDS during normal class hours (3:30-7 p.m.) and place your donations in the bins provided in the waiting room and/or in the dance studio.

When/Where: Tuesday, Nov. 22, 12:30 p.m. / Milano Senior Center, 201 West Foster St., Melrose

Why Go: Join others at the Milano Senior Center for some delicious pie brought in and served by the good folks at EPOCH Senior Living and Home Health Care.  Reservations are required—see or call the Center receptionist to have your name place on the list.

When/Where: Tuesday, Nov. 22, 7 p.m. / , 454 Main St., Melrose

Why Go: The Melrose High School boys soccer team's booster club is sponsoring Guest Bartender Night at Absolutely Fablulous. Come out and enjoy warm company, good food and drinks while celebrating a tough, well played season and supporting the team. Order the "Red Kick" to help the boys soccer teams!

When/Where: Thursday, Nov. 24, 10:15 a.m. / , 360 Lynn Fells Parkway, Melrose

Why Go: Melrose and Wakefield renew their 110-year-old Thanksgiving rivalry. The Red Raiders and Warriors both enter the game with identical 8-2 records, with Wakefield claiming the Middlesex League Small School Division championship as both Melrose losses came against divisional rivals. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Athletics Office, the , and .

Pricing: $6 for adults, $4 for students and seniors, $8 on game day at the gate

When/Where: Saturday, Nov. 19, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. / The Beebe Estate, 235 West Foster St., Melrose

Why Go: This month's art show in the Beebe Gallery is also a sale of local fine art and craft, featuring locally made jewelery, adornments for home and garden, ceramics, glass works, metal works and more. Check out some of what's available .
