We spend so much time talking turkey (ahem) and about food leading up to Thanksgiving, it can be easy to forget what really makes the day special: Getting together with family and friends and the time spent together.
Usually during the meals, everyone's a little busy shoveling food into their mouths, asking "please pass the gravy" or leaning back and undoing the top button on their pants. (That was always my Papa's classic move.)
Because of that, the quality time is usually spent after the meal, when everyone's fat and happy. But not everyone spends their post-meal time the same way.
