5 Weekend Events in Boston: Flamenco Festival, Australian Acrobats and More

Hot Off The T: All events are within walking distance of Orange Line stops on the MBTA.

1.) AUSTRALIAN ACROBATS: Circa is a troupe from Australia that jumps, tumbles and rolls to create a circus atmosphere. At the Paramount Theater on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $50 and $60.
Take the Orange Line to Downtown Crossing Station and walk 3 minutes to the theater. 

2.) FLAMENCO FESTIVAL: Professional Flamenco dancers perform at the Cutler Majestic Theatre on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $40-$65. 
Take the Orange Line to Chinatown Station and walk 3 minutes to the theater

3.) GECKOS EXHIBIT: More than 60 exotic geckos are on display at this exhibit at the Museum of Science through May 6. Free with exhibit hall admission. 
Take the Orange Line to Community College Station and walk 10 minutes to the museum.

4.) OLD TIME MUSIC: The Carolina Chocolate Drops play string and jug-band music at the Berklee Performance Center on Saturday. Check out their music here. Tickets are $28-$37.
Take the Orange Line to Mass. Ave. Station and walk 10 minutes to the performance center

5.) HALF-PRICE TICKETS: Find discount tickets to theater, music, dance and family programs at BosTix. Some tickets are available online. Some half-price tickets are available the day of show at kiosk locations in Boston.
