Blanket and Basket Concert Moved to First Congregational
Rain moves concert from library lawn.
The Blanket and Basket concert scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 5 at 6 p.m. is being moved from the Melrose Public Library's lawn to the First Congregational Church, 121 West Foster St., due to rain. Tincknell and Bates will perform.
The Mayor's Night Out scheduled at Pine Banks Park on Thursday night will go forward as planned. Brigid Alverson, assistant to Mayor Rob Dolan, said the Night Out event will not be moved or postponed except in the case of lightning.
